The event provided an important platform for SAMS to showcase how technology can transform agriculture and improve the livelihoods of smallholder farmers.
Presenting a Vision for Smarter Agriculture
During the event, the SAMS team introduced its AI-powered, solar-backed, and digitally inclusive solution designed to help smallholder farmers make better farming decisions through real-time agricultural insights. By integrating artificial intelligence, IoT sensor technology, and accessible mobile services such as SMS and USSD, SAMS aims to ensure that even farmers in remote communities can benefit from data-driven agriculture without requiring smartphones or constant internet access.
Building Meaningful Connections
Participation in the EU–Cameroon Business Week created valuable opportunities to engage with a diverse network of stakeholders across the public and private sectors. Throughout the event, the SAMS team exchanged ideas with entrepreneurs, development organizations, agricultural experts, investors, and institutional representatives, exploring opportunities for collaboration that can accelerate innovation within Cameroon’s agricultural ecosystem.
These conversations reinforced the growing interest in practical, technology-driven solutions that address food security, climate resilience, and economic empowerment for farming communities.
